When I visited the building I was attracted to its architectural styles [1] [2] [3]. After considering various designs for the inside and outside of the building , I finally opted for this particular facade, although with some hesitation, owing to the balanced asymmetric composition.
I was convinced by the building’s southern orientation and its constant exposure to sunlight: an ideal site for a sundial and one that is extremely rare among recent highly elaborate architectural styles.
Moreover, the distinctive array offering a variety of frames spurred me to compose, just like on a piece of elaborate music paper.
Finally, in assembling the dials here, they are both visible from the outside, like a signal, and face various densely populated areas (and points of passage) at the heart of the lycée.
